Sessions and Packages
We offer two pricing options for your sessions…
Our first option is called DELUXE. This allows you to receive fully-edited, digital images of all the work that meets our standards for editing. Immediate family can download the images from your gallery on the website, Shootproof.com. Prints of the images are available for purchase on the same site. Prices are most reasonable, and the product is of excellent quality from Miller’s Professional Imaging, a nationally-respected lab. With your permission, friends and extended family may be given a code to purchase digitals or prints from your gallery.
Our second option is called our CHOICE. This includes your choice of 20 fully-edited, digital images from your session. Then, you have the following options available in any combination: purchase more digital downloads for $10 each, upgrade to the DELUXE session and thereby receive all the digital downloads, or purchase prints of any images from the session using our ShootProof site. For instance, you could choose your 20 digital downloads and purchase 4x6 prints of all the remaining images, or any other combination of the options. This plan allows you a full range of choices.
The Session
Individual information for specific sessions is included below. In general, our session includes portraits with or without a theme, combination shots of parents and kids, as well as candid shots. We discuss the plan with you and tailor the session to what you are looking for. We love to choose scenic outdoor locations, but can do sessions at your home or in our home studio by request. We arrive and meet, sign our session contract, greet the little ones to start building a rapport, then jump right in. Most sessions last about an hour.
Maternity
Admittedly, Maternity and Newborn Sessions are our favorites. We love to include immediate family, siblings and make it feel just as special a time as it is! We usually choose an outdoor setting about 1.5 hours before sunset for the most amazing lighting. Outfit changes are welcome, and we provide plenty of posing options.
Fresh 48
This is a memorable time for your growing family and we would love to document it for you. We use more of a lifestyle format capturing plenty of candids and “firsts.” From the extended family visit to first look of siblings, these sessions are very unique.
Newborn
Our passion - the Newborn Session usually lasts about 3 to 5 hours. We recommend the session be scheduled when baby is about 6 - 14 days old. Our home studio is our preferred location. We have all kinds of color choices, props, and style options. Based on availability, we can also offer an in-home option bringing studio equipment and utilizing a lifestyle format. This session includes various poses and wraps of baby, family portraits, combination shots of mom and baby, dad and baby, and sibling(s) and baby. We provide as relaxing an environment as possible for your enjoyment - with or without much sleep.
Milestones
We love to capture images your little ones as they grow. We have several age and developmentally appropriate props and set ups for the first year of life. The most popular Milestone Sessions include 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and of course graduations for our almost-grown crowd. Graduation Sessions can include portraits demonstrating your child’s interests and hobbies along with sports and accomplishments.
First Birthday
These are the most fun sessions for all involved! They can include portraits with a theme, a cake smash, and even a timeless, rustic bubble-bath to follow up. Like it or hate it, it makes for some super cute images. If you are going for the cake smash, we recommend you purchase a 6 inch, 2 to 3 layer, light colored, buttercream frosting cake. Do not forget to ensure your child has sampled cake!
Family
We love family and attempt to catch candid moments along with providing you beautiful portraits of individuals and your family all together. We conduct this session as if each pose is going on your wall and being documented forever. We get all combinations of siblings and parents, from elegant to more silly moments. These sessions can be at your home or we can choose a gorgeous outdoor setting.
Engagement
We can be there to capture the moment, return to the scene to capture new memories, or use any outdoor location for this significant time. We will guide you through a relaxed, fun “date” together for this session. We apologize in advance for the difficult time you will have choosing from all the spectacular images for your announcements.
School Portraits
This School Portrait Package for is great for anyone on a budget. It works well for homeschool families as well as families that are looking for a creative alternative to the cookie cutter in-school pictures. Unlike our hour long sessions, this package includes 2 poses per child, a portrait of the kids together, and a family portrait. We can assist in choosing a beautiful outdoor location and finish in about 15-30 minutes!
Events
Yes, we would be love to document those important evens in your family’s life. From birthday parties to family reunions to “SURPRISE”es, we will show up early and capture all the details. We provide an easy-to-follow hourly plan for pricing so you can check the photographer off your list.
Packages
We are pleased to offer discounts when you decide to book more than one session at the same time. In general, there is a 20% discount on every session after the first in our packages, but our most popular packages have even greater savings! At booking, the first session payment serves as the deposit and is applied to the final session in the package. The package combinations are pretty endless. Let us know the time frame for each session in your package and we can take care of contacting you to schedule - no more trying to remember to book months in advance or worrying about whether we are booked solid.
Maternity/Newborn
Our most popular package, this is available in DELUXE or CHOICE options. You save over $100 with this package compared to booking these sessions separately! Both the Maternity and Newborn Sessions are exactly as described above. If you are okay with us posting on social media, our top fans love to see the perfect blessings from the beautiful mommas they see in your previews.
Grow with Me
This is a comprehensive package documenting the first year of life with beautiful images. Choose either 5 or the full 7 sessions from the following: Maternity, Fresh 48, Newborn, 3 Months, 6 Months, 9 Months, and First Birthday. Each session is as described above and each is the DELUXE option. We have plenty of props for the milestone sessions that match your child’s level of development.
General Package
As mentioned, we will create any combination package for you applying the 20% discount on all sessions after the first (or after the highest price session if they are priced differently). For instance, we can make you a package of birthday sessions for all your kids, Spring and Fall Family Sessions, Holiday Sessions, etc. You tell us which sessions you are looking for and general timeframes at booking, and we do all the rest.
